Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ClawCap website and hosted proxy service operated by ClawCap ("we", "us", "our"). By using ClawCap, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

ClawCap is a hosted proxy service that sits between your AI agent (e.g., OpenClaw) and LLM API providers. It enforces spending caps, detects wasteful patterns, and provides remote control capabilities. ClawCap does not provide LLM API access itself — you must have your own API keys with the relevant providers.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
You are responsible for all activity under your proxy token.
Do not share your proxy token with unauthorized parties.
One account per person or organization. Contact us for multi-seat needs.

3. API Keys and Passthrough

ClawCap operates on a passthrough model. Your API keys are included in request headers and forwarded to LLM providers. We never store, log, or cache your API keys. You are solely responsible for the security and management of your API keys, including rotation and revocation with your provider.

4. Spending Caps

ClawCap enforces daily and monthly spending caps based on your subscription tier. Caps are enforced on a best-effort basis using real-time cost estimation. Due to the nature of streaming responses and concurrent requests, actual spend may slightly exceed your cap in rare edge cases. ClawCap is not liable for spend that exceeds configured caps.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of charge.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use ClawCap to circumvent LLM provider terms of service
Share or resell proxy access without an Agency plan
Attempt to bypass spending caps or tamper with cost tracking
Use the service for illegal activities
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack ClawCap infrastructure
Send abusive or excessive traffic intended to degrade service for others

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. ClawCap may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. If the proxy is unavailable, your agent will receive connection errors — no requests will be silently dropped or forwarded without cap enforcement.

8. Limitation of Liability

ClawCap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for API costs incurred through your provider, whether or not caps were enforced correctly.
We are not liable for damages arising from service interruptions, data loss, or security incidents.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for ClawCap in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your proxy token is deactivated and your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state where ClawCap operates.
